Recently there have been even more great speeches and articles about interactive design. This is the keynote speech by Alan Cooper for IXDA’s yearly design conference.

He brings up some amazing ideas about the importance of quality design, the value of not rushing projects, and the errors in the traditional management style when used for software design. He also gives a nice call to action for interaction designers to aim to become the strategic level of management between the programmers and the business side of an organization. This is an excellent speech and I would suggest that anyone watch it.
