but i can’t tell quite yet….

Another person I see everyday on my way home from work is the barber.  There is always an older man standing on a corner holding a sign that says ‘Haircuts. . . $8.95′ (i guess corner marketing is big in orlando).  Well today I saw this man and something was different.  It is a florida law that if you are near a roadway, you are supposed to be wearing a safety vest.  Someone clued the barber into this fact.  Now, if the man wasn’t visible enough already with his huge sign for haircuts…..he is sporting a bright orange vest.

So now everyday as I pass, I think to myself what the trial would be like if anyone ran over him.

‘didn’t you see his orange vest?’
‘No…there was a big sign for haircuts in front of it’

well i got my usb xmas tree in…

it’s quite glorious.  Perhaps the best thing about it, is that i can plug it into my cable box’s previously useless usb port and bring some Christmas cheer to my entertainment center.  Did i need this little object of nerdom ?  Nope.  But I got it for $5.95 shipped…That’s less than the cost of one drink downtown!!!!

Herein lies my new problem.  With all purchases I now find myself comparing the price to the number of drinks that could be purchased (drunkportunity cost ?)  I ask myself…’would i have more enjoyment from a usb tree or a rum and coke ?’  So of course the answer for anything that is under 6 drinks is to buy buy buy!!!!
